A graduate of Willam Paterson University’s elite jazz program, Jeffrey Burr has garnered critical acclaim for his unique approach to playing jazz guitar. He has performed on both coasts and toured Japan with legends such as Dizzy Gillespie, Rufus Reid, Donald Bailey, and Adam Nussbaum. He is also a Senior Music Analyst for Pandora.com’s Music Genome Project. His latest recording is “Bright Blue.”
Bassist Fred Randolph's professional career includes three CD releases, orchestral and soundtrack work as well as teaching at UC Berkeley. He is currently the leader of The Fred Randolph Quintet (Fred Randolph, basses; Erik Jekabson, trumpet; Sheldon Brown, saxes; Matt Clark, piano; and Greg Wyser-Pratte, drums). He continues to perform as a bassist for many of the Bay Area’s finest including Maria Muldaur, Dan Hicks, Contemporary Jazz Orchestra, Collective West Jazz Orchestra, Sandy Cressman’s Homenagem Brasileira, Bobbe Norris and Larry Dunlap, Kenny Washington, Michael O’Neill, Dmitri Metheny and Calvin Keys.
